About this tool
Hours per day is remaining work divided by days until the exam (today counts as a day if the exam is today). Optional pages override hours via pages ÷ pages-per-hour.

Formula and methodology
daysRemaining = calendar days from today to exam. hoursPerDay = totalHours / max(days, 1).
Worked example
20 hours and 10 days left → 2 hours per day.

Does this include the exam day?+
The difference is in calendar midnights. If the exam is today, you get 0 leftover days and the full hours are due “today”.
