How to Merge PDF Files

AllinOne Editorial · Published 2026-09-16

Merging PDFs copies pages into a new document. You can do that on this device without sending files to a server.

A merge is not a new layout. Each page from each file is copied, in order, into one PDF. Cover first, then chapters, then an appendix — that is just the order of the files (and the arrows on this site).

Steps

  1. Open Merge PDF and add two or more files.
  2. Use the arrows if a file landed in the wrong place.
  3. Merge and download merged.pdf.

When to split or compress first

If you only need pages 1–3 of a long scan, extract those with Split PDF before merging. If email rejects the result, try Compress PDF — and read that guide, because rebuild-with-object-streams does not magically shrink photo-heavy scans.

Very large files can strain a phone browser. Use a desktop tab for long books.
